This page includes grant proposals I wrote for the two grants classes I took at TTU: Grants and Proposals for Nonprofits and Grants and Proposals for the Academy and Industry. These classes were part of the technical communication program.

For each project, I chose to work with local nonprofits. I was able to collaborate with dedicated people in the community and get involved in worthwhile projects. Click on the linked image to see the grant in a new window.

The Beth-El Farmworker Ministry and the One Community Now grants were both partially funded. The Clothes To Kids grant was not funded, and the Forest Lakes Elementary grant was not submitted to the grantor due to staff and program changes.

Beth-El Farmworker Ministry Grant Proposal

I chose this nonprofit because of the work they do. Beth-El Farmworker Ministry is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which helps farmworkers and the underserved rural community of Wimauma, Florida.

Forest Lakes Elementary Grant Proposal

Forest Lakes Elementary is an elementary school in Oldsmar, Florida. The purpose of the proposal was to request funds to purchase books for a small library at the school. This library would serve students who underperformed in the English language arts standardized test administered by the school district.

One Community Now Grant Proposal

One Community Now is a local 501(c)3 organization in New Port Richey, Florida, that helps feed schoolchildren through their Pack-A-Sack weekend food program.

Clothes To Kids Grant Proposal

I chose this nonprofit because it is a local established nonprofit that helps children with their clothing needs. This nonprofit has a simulated retail store where children can “shop” for clothes in a comfortable and dignified store environment.
